The WiseUp Initiative for Good Health and Community Development was founded as a response to sexual and reproductive health and rights challenges facing women, girls and young people in Nigeria.

The organization is committed to increasing access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights information and services for women, girls and young people in Nigeria through research, advocacy, innovation, social outreaches and entrepreneurship (RAISE) Approach.

WiseUp was established to bridge the gaps preventing women, girls and young people from having access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health and rights information and services which further increases their vulnerability to poor sexual and reproductive health and rights outcomes.
